Permanent Storage (Tamper-proof/Lossless Storage):
Once data is stored in the data structure, new blocks are interwoven with every previous block on the chain. This ensures that any attempt to alter document content will be promptly detected and rejected by the entire network. Akashic guarantees users permanent access rights to stored content, including uploaded data, timestamps, uploaders' information, etc.
Anti-censorship (Prevention of Content Uploads from Being Blocked due to Centralized Censorship):
Akashic does not mandate the storage of all content uploaded by users. It allows each node to independently decide which blocks and transactions to store, thereby enhancing the network's resistance to censorship. The default transactions accepted by the network have numerous replicas (the current replication rate in the network exceeds 97%, meaning miners on average store 97% of block spindles). Storage on the network (rather than individual miners) is probabilistically guaranteed, making it highly robust and interference-resistant. These advantages result in faster data access speeds and more reliable storage for users compared to other methods. Miners can select which blocks and transactions they wish to store, enabling them to implement content policies that align with their own requirements. Additionally, in most cases, uploaders do not publicly share upload links, preventing others from accessing uploaded content.
Low Cost (Low Development/Learning/Deployment Time Cost):
Akashic's HTTP API makes it extremely easy for developers to build decentralized web applications on the blockchain. Developers can utilize all the web technologies they are familiar with and prefer (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), and deploy them to the WEB3 world within minutes.
Decentralization (Decentralized Nodes):
As an essential component of block validation, transactions are stored on the chain and replicated across the entire network, resulting in data being geographically dispersed worldwide. Nodes, in order to achieve "harmonious incentive alignment," tend to contribute positively to the utility of the network through their actions.
Data Standardization (Data Consensus, Forming a True Layer0):
Based on standardized data formats like JSON, all data can be uniformly indexed and computed, naturally enabling "cross-chain" calculations and data transactions.
